Established in 1822, the Royal Buckley Town Band is a friendly community brass band based in Buckley, Flintshire.
We will be busy throughout this year with various engagements and Second Section contests.
Thanks to our Music Director Keith Jones - and his wonderful choice of programme. A super team effort, with exceptional soloists and featured players. Thank you to family, friends and all who support us, it really does mean so much to us all.

Newly formed in January 2025, our Music Academy gives young players the chance to learn, grow and discover the joy of making music together. We aim to spark imagination, build confidence, create life‑long musical memories and inspire the next generation of brass musicians.
We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive organisation, ensuring that every young person can take part comfortably and confidently, whatever their starting point.
Whether playing their very first notes or developing their early skills, our young players are supported in a friendly, encouraging environment where progress and enjoyment go hand in hand.

Welcome to our new 2026 starters!

We’re fundraising to replace tired kit and outfit every member with pride — from our youngest learners to our seasoned performers.
Our band is growing in numbers - and so is our need for smart, matching uniforms. We have our iconic ‘Reds’ that people know us for and our outdoor, waterproof ‘black’ kit for all-weather performances - but some uniforms are worn out and we simply don’t have enough for our new players.
Outfitting a single member can cost over £300:
• Our signature red jackets are around £250 each
• Waterproof black jackets cost about £60
• Polo shirts for casual events are around £12
If you love what we do, please consider donating. Every bit helps us keep Buckley’s musical tradition marching forward in style. Thank you!

We're always happy to recruit players to enhance our team.

The Whit Friday Marches date back to 1884.
